Process

1st Stage We need to meet

We'll discuss your likes and dislikes, the timescales and trickiest of all - the budget!

This stage is the least painful as it’s free!

2nd Stage Design proposal

A design concept and estimate will be developed based on the information gathered during our initial meeting and then presented to you.

From this point onward, the design concept and any commissioned work will be chargeable. All fees will be agreed in advance before any work begins.

3rd Stage Implementation

Once the concept has been agreed, timescales confirmed, and the estimates accepted, the process moves forward.

Deposits are then paid, orders for goods are placed, and the relevant tradespeople are commissioned.

We are ready to start

You can choose the level of our involvement across these stages - whether full or partial support - the choice is entirley yours.

FAQ’s

"What if I don’t like your designs?”

We'll sulk!  - but seriously, our role is to understand your tastes and needs and to deliver a scheme that genuinely reflects what you are looking for.

We believe it is important to take the time at the outset of the project to gather as much information from you as possible, so that this doesn't happen.

You may not love every suggestion that we make, and nothing will ever be imposed, as we always remember it's your home or project. Our role is to interpret not impose.

"What will the designer cost?”

This depends on the scope of the work involved.

Designers typically charge either an hourly rate, a total project fee or a percentage of the total cost of the project.

Whichever approach is most appropriate, all fees will be agreed in advance before any work begins.

"How long will it take?”

Again this depends on the scope of work involved.

While everyone would like results yesterday, realistic timelines are essential.

Some furniture and bespoke items can take up to 3 - 4 months to manufacture and deliver, but we will provide a clearer schedule once the full scope is understood.
